ROSE WINES
NOW AVAILABLE: EnPrimeur Clare Valley Australian Grenache Rosé.
You will not find many Australian Rosé on the shelves of your local LCBO -- although we found four in the Vintages Section. One of these, Rosenvale Estate Grenache 2005 (V59881, $21.95) may be the most similar to EnPrimeur's new Australian Grenache Rosé, in that both wnes are made with Grenache grapes and Rosenvale Estate's vineyards can be found in the Barossa Valley which is located just south and east of Clare Valley, in South Australia.
The other Australian Rosé wines at Vintages are:
CAT AMONGST THE PIGEONS ALLEY CAT SHIRAZ/GRENACHE 2007
(V127621, $21.95)
GLAYMOND WINES LANDRACE SHIRAZ/MATARO 2005 (V658492, $40.00)
TWO HANDS HARRY & EDWARD'S GARDEN SHIRAZ 2007 (V60285, $59.00)
Whichever Australian Rosé you choose, you will find a wine that is great for summer sipping ... a wine that looks great in the glass ... a wine that's full of flavour with a slight off-dry finish. When you "make" your EP Clare Valley Australian Grenache Rosé, you will enjoy a wine that you can share with pride and enjoy significant savings compared to the products available at the LCBO.
Winexpert's Selection International Tempranillo Rosé
will not be available in 2010.
This wine, which was introduced as a Limited Edition in 2008 -- and brought back in 2009 -- quickly developed a following at Bloor West Winery. It was a terrific wine, perfect for summer enjoyment! However, Winexpert are developing some new products for the Fall of 2010 and this activity precludes them bringing back their rosé. |
